Indonesia
Bali's temples and rice terraces, plus 17,000 more islands
Indonesia is mostly Bali for Indian travellers, and Bali deserves it: Hindu temples, terraced rice fields, surf beaches and villas at every budget. Beyond it lie Java's Borobudur, Komodo's dragons and the diving of Raja Ampat.
For Indian travellers. Balinese Hinduism shares names and epics with Indian traditions, though rituals look quite different.
