Nepal
Himalayan treks and the valley of temples
Nepal holds eight of the world's fourteen highest peaks. Kathmandu Valley's medieval squares, Pokhara's lakeside and treks from easy day hikes to Everest Base Camp make it a place many people return to.
For Indian travellers. Indian citizens can enter with a valid passport or voter ID, and Indian rupees are widely accepted (high-denomination notes may not be).
